Google Classroom
Google Classroom is an online learning platform developed by Google for educational institutions. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. Google Classroom is used from Year 1 to Year 6 in our school. Class teachers upload information and resources that can support your child's learning at home.
Accessing Google Classroom:
STEP 1: Get the APP or use a browser
You can access Google Classroom using mobile apps (Android & iOS), or via any web browser on a device or computer.
- If you are using an iPad or android tablet or smartphone, please download the free Google Classroom app from your App Store.
- If you are using a Desktop, PC, Mac or laptop type classroom.google.com in the address bar and hit the enter button on your keyboard
You are ready for STEP 2
Accessing Google Classroom:
STEP 2: Get access to your child's 'online class'
Click Sign In.
- Sign in using your child's school email address and password. For example, examplename24@st-marys-ashford.kent.sch.uk. This is provided by the school.
- Accept the invite to join the class.
Using your child's own school email address is the only way to access their online Google Classroom
